The history !

The research teams LASPI, LAMCOS, and LVA from the University of Lyon are joining forces to launch the Surv@Lyon conference, which will take place in Lyon, France, from April 12 to 14, 2027.
Surv@Lyon builds on a long-standing tradition of events* organised by these three teams -- collectively known as the “LALALA” group -- aimed at presenting the latest scientific advances in the fields of monitoring and dynamics of machines and structures. As suggested by the first syllable of its name (“surv”, from surveillance in the sense of monitoring), Surv@Lyon continues to explore these research areas, which are rich in industrial applications and continuously challenged by emerging issues. These topics are particularly relevant in the current context of ecological transition, as they contribute to the design of systems that are more efficient, safer, and more reliable. In line with previous editions, special emphasis will be placed on the interplay between mechanics and data processing, fostering the development of innovative approaches and technologies. At the intersection of these trends, Surv@Lyon aims to serve as an international forum bringing together academic researchers and industrial stakeholders. The conference seeks to provide a structured overview of developments in the field -- an ambition also reflected in the term “surveillance,” understood here in the sense of scientific watch.
